Backwards Rolling Loop with Roll Reversal

Model enters from right to left in backwards flight. When the model hits the centerline, the pilot starts the first backwards rolling loop while rolling left. After the first loop is completed and the model hits the centerline, the pilot starts the second backwards rolling loop while rolling right. After the model completes the second loop and crosses the centerline, the maneuver is complete.

      Judging will be based on:
      Centering of the maneuver
      Symmetry of the maneuver
      Speed Symmetry - the same in both loops
      Both loops should be the same size

Funnel Circle Reversal

The model enters the maneuver flying backwards inverted from right to left. Immediately after the helicopter hits the centerline, the pilot initiates a tail down funnel for the first half of the funnel. The pilot must perform 4 complete left aileron rolls within the first half of the funnel.  When the model reaches the half way point, the pilot initiates a 180-degree pirouette (left or right) and proceeds in a nose down funnel. The pilot must perform 4 complete right aileron rolls within the second half of the funnel. The end of last roll should be when the model hits the centerline.

      Judging will be based on:
      Centering of the maneuver
      Symmetry of the maneuver
      Speed Symmetry - the same in both halfs
      Should be a mininum of 100 feet in diameter
      Altitude control – 25 feet or lower
 

Aerobatic Auto

The pilot will climb to an altitude of their choice to complete this autorotation.
Once at altitude, the pilot will hit throttle hold and wait for two seconds before starting the aerobatics.  Starting with a four point right roll to a four point left roll to a pirouetting flip before landing on the center line.

      Judging will be based on:
      Pirouetting flip altitude should be 50 feet or less
      Soft landing on the centerline
      Flow during the manuver
      Symmetry of points during roll
